Gordon Walton is a founding member of Clarion Healthcare Consulting. Mr. Walton is a seasoned strategist with more than 11 years of experience partnering with companies in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. He brings significant expertise to bear on a range of issues relating to product commercialization, portfolio management and planning, as well as supporting business development assessment and prioritization. Mr. Walton has worked across a range of therapeutic categories having led projects in ophthalmology, neuroscience, oncology, pain and arthritis and respiratory disease and with all key organizational functions including discovery research, clinical development, marketing, medical affairs, sales, and business development. He has led a number of ophthalmology-oriented strategy projects, was the founder of Ocutech, Inc., a medical products company specializing in the ophthalmology/optometry markets, and has also served as an advisor to several large "category-killer" cataract and refractive surgery practices.

Prior to founding Clarion, Mr. Walton was the co- head of Braun Consulting's Healthcare Consulting Practice. Before working at Braun, he also worked for Bankers Trust in the structuring, sales and trading of complex financial securities. Mr. Walton graduated from Seattle Pacific University, acquired a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton Business School.
